The client
Bonser Initiatives of Management is the main national benchmark in consulting for the modernization of public administrations. Since 2001, its team of professionals has analyzed the initial situation of the entity and drawn up a plan that guarantees the success of the recommendations. In this way they help to improve the productivity, quality and service of their clients, especially in the Local Administration.
The challenge
The control of the operations was carried out from a solution developed internally and based on access. The data was reported from each employee to the management, who entered the information in the application through forms. The solution was valid but presented opportunities for improvement both from a technical and operational point of view. Facilitating the introduction of data, incorporating all the actors in the system, would allow employees to take responsibility for this task, which implied a substantial improvement.
The strategy
The client wanted to take the opportunity to fully design their management tool. The client opted, from the first moment, for a software development project whose execution resulted in a custom management application, 100% adapted to its processes. Given Bonser’s activity, he knew firsthand that it involved close collaboration and that requirements capture, analysis, and design were key phases for successful implementation. Automating processes could not be at odds with usability and a modern UI.
The proposal
Bonser’s activity is carried out throughout the national territory, so its users should be able to access the tool remotely and concurrently. It should also be accessible from a PC, tablet or mobile. The first thing was to take a good look at the requirements and learn first-hand about the processes that the client wanted to include in the tool. For the implementation we bet on a responsive web application, with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. In the backend we opted for CodeIgniter, as the LinkedBytes team had experience with this framework.

CUSTOMIZED
From the beginning we knew that it was a custom development. Bonser was very clear about his goals and his needs. From LinkedBytes we took charge of materializing his ideas.
INCORPORATED ACTORS
Now the entire company uses the application, reports their data and obtains the reports corresponding to their level of access. Bonser already had its processes identified and with the designed solution they are also automated and optimized.

The client threw himself into the project because he understood that it was the best way to ensure a good result. The client was satisfied and as proof of this we continue to maintain the solution.
Customer opinion
In 2016 we identified an opportunity to improve the tools and means, both internal and external, that we at Bonser use to carry out our work. As a result, we defined a modernization plan for the Company for the 2017-2020 period, endowed with its corresponding investment plan, to achieve the objectives established in said plan. The execution of the modernization plan has led to significant improvements in internal management and in the relationship with our clients and collaborators. LinkedBytes has been our technological partner from day one and continues to accompany us, allowing us to dedicate our efforts to our productive activity and letting them be the ones to watch over our management solutions.
